Does range of motion measurement and reference values differ?: a multi-centered study

This study is aimed to estimate and measure reference values in the normal range of motion extremity joints females provide a database for assessment impairments related mobility joints. observational cross-sectional was conducted at seven major educational institutes areas Rawalpindi Islamabad Pakistan from January June 2020 with sample size 600 healthy aged 15 45 years divided into three groups through non-probability sampling technique. In Instruments, an electronic Goniometer used measurement motions different then those ranges were recorded. The questionnaire had two sections demographic characteristics ROM both upper lower limbs. Data analyzed using SPSS V21. A p < 0.05 considered statistically significant.In result,Out participants,there significant difference (p 0.001) extremities between all measurements noticeably no > 0.005) group 1, 2 comparisons knee joint extension.To conclude, most joints, increases age. transition 1 aided by increased hormone participation growth, active lifestyle, generally good health. Because degenerative changes stiffness, 3’s deteriorated, leading sedentary lifestyle lack physical activity. Standardized biomechanical can help health practitioners, such as physiotherapists, choose appropriate therapy interventions assess musculoskeletal disorders. To resolve inconsistencies reliability validity goniometry values, more research required.
